Wall Installation

Three iterations for a wall installation. These have the possibility to be quite large if we want. The files I have are very big.

I imagine there being a combination of print mounted directly to wall (photoTex or the like) and some being prints attached with magnets or possibly framed overlapping images on the wall.

I could envision a simple shelf mounted overtop the images on the wall to allow the small prints to lean on the wall without being hung. Particularly the row of black prints towards the bottom of the composition

Below are detail images of the smaller components of the Proposed Wall Installations

Below are images of the larger pieces for either PhotoTex or long/large prints. I Imagine the long prints that aren’t on PhotoTex might be printed on newsprint or epson single weight and allow the print to hang from the top and not be totally affixed to the wall.

Below is what was installed at Silver Eye

approximately 15 x 24 inches

Mock up for Larger Vitrine layout; 30x60 inches; I could easily see multiple smaller vitrines becoming an interesting iteration; I would also like to see small versions of a few images in the vitrine that are again used larger on the wall, if we are doing both vitrine and wall.

ROLODEX

This is a new piece I’ve been thinking about / working on. Part of my practice involves collecting screenshots from online collections and other archival collections. Although some of the imagery from these screenshots have been used in other ways in Footnotes, they often don’t ever leave the folder on my computer. They are more so a reference point for me rather than the final product or images. It could be interesting to allow visitors flip through the rolodex to see all the “source Imagery” that may or may not have informed the visuals represented in this body of work.
